TPresident Jane Daniels called the meeting to order.

The minutes of the July meeting were approved. There was no treasurer's report.

Charlie would like the group to purchase a trash bin to be placed on the route from the pool to the parking lot. 

Dianne and Charlie will be at the Support Connection walk. 

Dianne reported that there will be five interpretive signs: Time line, Great Depressioin, CCC camp and Items still in the park. The subject of the 5th sign is still to be determined. It was suggested at a geocache be placed in the CCC camp.

Josh Feinberg would like to build 50' of board walk in a wet area in the Disc Golf course and needs to find out about the wood needed. Jane indicated unfortunately the Friends were not in a position to pay for materials. 

Anwer would like to have a blog on the website so that FDR owns the material posted. He would like someone to set it up and then he would provide articles. It was suggested that a volunteer could be found at the Yorktown Street Fair. 

Walter talked about an intro to fishing program and proposed discussing it at the next meeting. 

The meeting was adjorned at 8:15 pm
